9. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

The Platform may operate internationally.

Personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area. In particular, our development and technology partners may process personal information from Ukraine and other locations outside the UK and EEA.

Where such transfers take place, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional technical and organisational measures where appropriate.

10. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • operate the Platform;
  • provide services;
  • administer sponsorship relationships;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • resolve disputes; and
  • enforce agreements.

Where possible, information may be anonymised or securely deleted when no longer required.

11. SECURITY

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information.

  • administer sponsorship attribution; and
  • support affiliate functionality.

Additional details may be provided in a separate Cookie Policy.

15. SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT CONNECTIONS (INSTAGRAM AND TIKTOK)

Athletes may choose to connect an Instagram or TikTok account to display public reach metrics on their Sports Agent X profile.

Where you connect a social media account, we access — with your explicit consent given on the provider's authorisation screen — your public profile information (username, display name, profile picture and profile link), your follower count, and aggregate content metrics such as posts per month, average views per post, engagement rate and, for Instagram, aggregated audience geography. We use this information solely to display reach metrics on your profile and on any public profile page you choose to share with sponsors and partners. We only read data: we never post, modify or delete content on your behalf, and we never access private messages.

You can disconnect a connected social media account at any time in the app (Profile > Linked Accounts > Disconnect). Disconnecting revokes our access with the provider and permanently deletes the stored connection data, including access tokens and synced metrics. Removing Sports Agent X from your Instagram or TikTok app permissions has the same effect, and deleting your Sports Agent X account permanently deletes all connected social media data. You may also request deletion at any time by contacting us.

16. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Updated versions will be posted on the Platform with a revised effective date.

Continued use of the Platform following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
